01 Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using Awit (“the Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.

02 Description of service

Awit is a worship planning platform for the global Church. The Service allows you to:

  • Create and manage chord charts using ChordPro format
  • Organize songs into events
  • Collaborate with team members
  • Access your content across devices

03 User accounts and invitations

Awit operates on an invitation-only basis. To use the Service, you must:

  • Be invited by an existing organization administrator
  • Sign in with a Google account
  • Comply with these terms and your organization's policies

04 User content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to Awit, including:

  • Song lyrics and chord charts
  • Event arrangements
  • Comments and annotations

By using the Service, you grant Awit a license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your organization.

05 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

06 Privacy and data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

07 Intellectual property

The Awit service, including its design, functionality, and underlying technology, is owned by Awit and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

08 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

09 Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10 Limitation of liability

In no event shall Awit be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

11 Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via the Service or email.
